Our winemaker has an addiction, though he is quick to point out that using heirloom-quality Le Creuset, Descoware, Staub or Dru Holland cookware to turn out masterful cuisine every night is hardly a vice. So, he buys to cook and he buys to sell porcelainized cast-iron cookware from the 1930s to the 1980s — all in good to mint condition, all enduring gifts for the serious kitchen diva or avid collector.
